Happy Birthday to our Favorite Gym teacher!

Ask any elementary student and he or she will tell you that gym class is their favorite time of the day and week.  So our class had to show their appreciation for their favorite teacher!

During calendar time we made plans to sing "Happy Birthday" when we arrived for gym class.

End of the Week. . . End of the Day!

There are many "jobs" to do at the end of a school day.  2nd graders are great helpers!  Thank goodness I have twelve of these helpers at the end of my day.

 From sticker charts and tickets (our award and discipline system) . . . .

 To erasing the board and clapping erasers.

To taking out the trash.  

Did you notice that they all did it with a smile?  

I hope they all are such wonderful helpers at home, too!  Thank you, class!
