Elder Day was a great experience for the students! They served others instead of being "served" and they stepped up to the challenge.
The children sang songs from the Spring Concert. . . . :) Since many could not come to the concert, we brought the concert to them.
We read books to our new friends. What amazing readers we have become!
We even had some small friends join us. . . the opposite of "elder" more like "younger."
We closed with more singing. They really liked our motions!
To end our day we went to Trickling Springs for a treat and to see Miss Katie at work! We learned how the milk starts with the brown field cows and then comes to the factory to be pasteurized and then bottled.
Ice Cream Face! :)
