Learn to Serve "extra" Recess & Class Picnic

It was PERFECT weather for a picnic and WATER GAMES!!  So much fun in ONE afternoon! :)

But 1st . . . pictures with Learn to Serve, ice pops and recess time!

 The Ga-Ga pit is turning us GREEN!!  The flooring did not weather the change in weather well. :)

 After PICNIC party. . . only a handful of students so we played GoNoodle with POP Kidz.

It was silly, goofy fun!

Who doesn't like to be awarded for their hard work?  These kids worked hard . . . and now they are getting their rewards and couldn't be prouder!  Way to go 2nd grade!!

Menno Haven - Service Project with Elder Day and 2nd Grade

How do we serve?  How can an 8 year old 2nd grader serve others?  Oh, let me count the ways!  They blessed my heart as well as 20 elderly friends at Menno Haven's Elder Day program today.  We sang our spring program to them.  We read to them.  We loved on them!  And the gift was returned. . . makes me SMILE!
