Multiplication and Secretaries Week. . . what a combination!

We are learning how to multiply: times 2 and 5 come easily.  But who can skip count by 3 or 4 without really concentrating?  We are carefully learning, but it takes work and practice!

 We use egg cartons to group our color tiles.  This helps in the calculating and visualizing of the numbers and meaning behind times problems.

 We even wrote our own times three word problems!  Awesome 3-wheelers, don't you think?

 The classroom gets very quiet when we are working and thinking hard!  Our desks are still arranged in "Achievement Test" fashion. 

 "Happy Secretary's Day" to our very special Mrs. Crilley!  We LOVE her!  She blesses our day in so many ways!  Secretaries truly are the "Gate-keepers" and she does a terrific job at our school!

 We were a little nervous and shy at first. . . but not for long, as you can see!
